PP rod is a semi-crystalline material. It is harder than PE and has a higher melting point. Because nylon homopolymer materials are very fragile above zero degrees, many commercial nylon materials will contain one to four percent ethylene.

PP rods have low density, heat resistance, no deformation, high stiffness, high surface strength, good chemical stability, excellent electrical properties, non-toxic, harmless, uniform color, smooth surface, surface flatness, easy installation and maintenance. Long service life, easy processing, solid welding and other characteristics. It is often used in dirty water pipes, some seals, corrosion-resistant drums, and some acid and alkali resistant industries. There are also some wastewater discharge equipment, some semiconductor-related industries, and many equipment machinery industry will use nylon material products.

Depending on the diameter of the PP rods and bars, metal tubes of certain sizes are selected. Each metal tube is used as a separate mold cavity, and a linear feed opening is provided along the longitudinal surface of the tube. The feed ports run along the entire longitudinal surface and are open at both ends. Trapezoidal feed slots are designed along the inlet on both sides of the inlet. Each end is provided with a sealing groove end. The caps are sealed with the ends of the combination mold. An end cap opens in the center with a round hole of appropriate size to be used as inlet and outlet. This is how PP rods are designed and manufactured.
